The Birth of Tia Tatum
So how was Tia Tatum birthed you ask?
One solemn night, the full moon had risen in the stars had aligned— I kid
After my first failed attempt at college, I moved back home with my tail tucked between my legs. I tried to hang out with my previous friends, but found many of them to have a different mindset than I.
I found myself craving intellectual stimulation, and often gravitated towards older crowds. Though I moved back home, I remained in school, and in between working two jobs I started to dabble in mutually beneficial dating.
The characters and personalities I met from that lifestyle taught me many things, both positive and negative. I grew as a person, constantly being in surroundings and taking part in experiences that were new to myself. Talking with people whose intelligence level was probably 17 points higher than mine. Meeting people who were at a place in their life that I aspire to be.
That is always been a trait of mine, I prefer to surround myself with people that push me to do more. Even though not actively motivating, I’ve never had a problem with self-motivation. If I see something I go get it. Being around more affluent individuals sponsored my internal motivation to achieve more in life.
After a few years of that lifestyle, Amazing trips with individuals who only brought me joy into my life, I’m was seriously thankful for those that have supported me mentally emotionally and financially through some of the hardest years of my life - grad school.
However I took a break my last year of grad school, concentrating fully on myself, travel, presenting at conferences, and getting the grades I desired, developing a niche my in studies & research into family & relationship dynamics- the details of that are for another blog possibly...
Quite literally, 30 days after graduation I created my first initial Tia Tate email & bought my first advertisement on Eros.com. Now if you’ve been a friend for that long you remember when I used to be known as Tia Tate. After a desire to elevate my brand, I added a few letters to the end of my name as not to sound so stripper-ish
That is a quick summation of the start of Tia, I hope to see you return as I decide to share more about my journey in the 2 years that I’ve been a luxury companion.
